Supply chains of medical commodities in developing countries are often poorly monitored due to the lack of reliable and comprehensive decision data, opening the door to fraud and waste issues that negatively impact patients’ lives.

Our solution, ChainSafe, employs a novel open-source platform that collects and relays secure product monitoring data captured at every point of drug and vaccine supply chains.

Conceived at the CERN IdeaSquare in 2015 at THE Port Hackathon, and further developed in 2016, ChainSafe’s creators are seeking partnerships with global humanitarian and health organizations to implement a proof of concept of this innovative new platform in key countries.
